Ajeeb Daastaan Hai Ye is an Indian television show, which premiered on 7 October 2014 on Life OK.The show is an Indian soap opera produced by Ekta Kapoor under the banner Balaji Telefilms. The show marks the debut of Bollywood actress Sonali Bendre on Indian television in fiction genre.The title of the show Ajeeb Daastaan Hai Ye is inspired from the song of 1960 Bollywood film, Dil Apna Aur Preet Parai which was originally sung by the veteran singer Lata Mangeshkar.The initial plot of the series is similar to the US television show The Good Wife.

Ye Hai Mohabbatein, based on a novel Custody by Manju Kapoor, showcases divorce, infertility, remarriage, mature love and deals with societal issues. It follows the story of Raman and Ishita who are connected by their common love for Raman's little daughter Ruhi. Ishita is a Tamilian whereas Raman is a Punjabi.

Young lovers Rohan and Zia get engaged. Soon the equations in Rohan's family change indefinitely with Zia getting fatally attracted to Rohan's macho elder brother Inspector Pradeep. Drama escalates till lovelorn Pradeep is shocked to find a deadly past connection associated with Zia which ravages their entire family.

Mix of drama, thrill, romance and a lot of humor the movie is based on the growing mall culture in India.
